The barber pole in the front window dates back to 1963 when it was made by the William Marvy Company. The new pole was shipped to a barber shop in Texas. Over the years it found ways of traveling north until it was finally purchased and fully restored in Salem, New Hampshire by the New England Barber Pole Company.
